spring break

The day before Spring Break was my boyfriend and my first anniversary. He got me a pretty little promise ring and made dinner, because it is usually me that does all the cooking. The next day I had to go take the SAT for the first time; I get the results back in June. When I got back from taking the test I found out that the water main broke, or something like that, so we had to stay at my aunts, and didnt get to do my home work.. oh well. I got to go home on Tuesday, and then Wendsday I went to the mall with some of my friends, then my bestest buddy came over and spent the night till friday. On thursday i turned 16 and hung out with my buddy and my boyfriend we played frisby and horse shoes then ripped up grass and threw it at eachother, we went out to eat with my mom and my little sister at Logans road house. woo! then on saturday a group of friends an i went to one of my friends new house and went swimming, then sunday my boyfriend and i went to work.

BCIS in the realworld

Our assignment for this blog is to tell how we can use this class in the real world. Technonogy is taking over the planet, so we can use the skills that we learn in BCIS in everything from making flyers for a lost cat, to a school assignment, to a resumee. I am going to run my own bussiness training horses and teaching people how to ride, and I need to know how to manage finances and statements, ect. Im sure there are a zillion other things that you can do with this class, but I just don't know what they are yet.

Hurricane Ike

The hurricane didn't do much damage to my house, we were only outta power for fourty hours. My Uncle that is on oxygen and my aunt were out of power untill friday, a neighbor loaned them a generator, if he hadn't had it I probably would be at a funeral tomarro. So because I am a good cook, my aunt had me bake their neighbor a cake, as a thank you. I made bread as soon as the power went back on and took some to my aunt and uncle. I finished my homework, and just hung out, my boyfriend came over a couple times, and I made calzones and a chocolate molten cake, which is basically an individual chocolate cake in a custard cup with a pudding type middle. I cleaned up the garden after the hurricane came through and it looks really good, I still have to fix it up, because the winds made it raggity, but hopefully I will get it looking nice before Halloween.

Interview

I don't really have a favorite food, I am a vegetarian, not vegan, I eat dairy, and eggs, but I like to try new things, alot of which I make up myself, like sweet and spicy mustard with lettuce peperjack, cheddar cheese, and sweet spicy pickles on home made bread. I love to cook for people, I love to see that what I have made gives some body happiness, even if it is just a moment, while the taste lingers on their tounge. My favorite subject in school is my Cooking elective, my Ap histroy class is a challenge, but I am ok with that. I really like learning about different cultures, which is why it is my favorite core class. I am very good in English, I go deep with the writing, and read betweeen the lines. Algebra is harder for me, but I still do well. I do pretty well in science classes, but not as well as History, and English. I rewiew for tests, but I think that I know what I know, and cramming the night before will only get me sleep deprived. I review the week before, but that is it. I want to be able to manage books, for a business and get a technology credit out of this class, and that is about it, like I said in my first blog, computers hate me. When working in groups people should divide the work equally. I am detailed, and produce well written work.

School

I can't belive it is the third week of school already! I hope this year goes by fast, it seems to be so far. I really like my schedule, Ap World History is a challenge, but I like it. Baking and Catering is really fun, and there is not any homework. I want to join the philosophy club, but I don't know any one, so I'm not sure if I will or not. I am really tired, so I am going to go to bed, I hope that this is enough for the assignment.

I have never even considered writing a blog, before, I know that I would not care to read other peoples opinions, so why would any one want to hear my opinions, or my story? I am in this BCIS class for the technology credit. Computers are annoying, and I swear they all hate me. So far no frustrations, so there is hope for the future ;)
